Huntington

Here are some shots I took at Huntington Beach earlier today.

Don’t know the surfers—just poached the shots.

Sunset at Pismo Beach

These shots are a little noisy (at the time, I still didn’t really get the whole ISO thing), but I still kinda like them.

Hong Kong IV: It’s not all city

My recent posts may give the impression that Hong Kong is all urban. Fortunately, it’s not.

Pismo Pelicans

I spent a week with my family at Pismo Beach last summer. Came across hundreds of pelicans, which were congregating on a series of rocks protruding from the ocean.

DSC_0506One of the smaller pelican rocks.

DSC_0552  More bird islands.

DSC_0543Close-up of some pelicans. Shot with my lovely 55-200 mm VR lens.

DSC_0558 Caught this guy just as he was landing.

DSC_0528I really got lucky with this shot. This bird kind of came out of nowhere, and I was fortunate enough to get a few shots of him while he was still relatively close.

DSC_0574 Came across this seagull mother with its baby while watching the pelicans.
